Cynthia Minnaar asked:

eople are financially strapped when they first try to make money online. In this article we will go over exactly how to start an online business without any money.

1. Determine a niche you would like to start your online business in. Try to pick something that interests you if such as cooking, fishing, antique cars, etc.

You are going to get a rare chance in your life to start a business on the Internet and do it based around a theme you have an interest in or a passion for.

2. Go to Blogger.com and set up your own blog. This is not hard to do and doesn’t require any technical knowledge.

You can come back and add to your blog at a later time. Primarily you should make sure and join the Google Adsense affiliate program so you can add Google ads on your blog.

3. Go to Clickbank.com and join their affiliate program. Once you have your affiliate ID number established go to the marketplace and find a couple of digital ebooks relating to the theme of your blog.

You can create your own unique URL for each product. Some of them provide graphics you can paste on your blog. Others provide text link ads you can place in the body of your blog articles.

4. Write your first blog article. Don’t worry about writing a masterpiece at this point.

All you are really doing is announcing to the world that you’ve started a blog about whatever niche you are in. Your first article can be around 200 words in length and should contain basic things such as an introduction, body, and closing paragraph.

5. Go back to Google and study their tutorials on how to enhance your blog and market it online. Ultimately you are trying to drive visitors to your blog and earn money when they purchase a ClickBank product or click on a Google ad.

6. Join Twitter.com and Facebook.com. These two social networking sites can be a good source of making contacts online as well as getting additional traffic to your blog.

If all of these this seems intimidating it doesn’t need to be. What we’ve just done is shown you how to start an online business without using your credit card. So far everything you have done is free and takes nothing but a little bit of time to get started.

Constance

Jane Robinson asked:

I have been thinking about this a lot recently. I haven’t blogged for a few days and I have to admit I have relished the time off. The problem with blogging and everything that revolves around it is it can become addictive.

I looked at a forum yesterday and people were complaining that they were working 10 or 12 hours a day without results. Well, this is a long process and if you are looking to make money out of a blog, you have to be in it for the long term. It’s a business and like any other business it takes time to establish.

Having said that how do you recognise that you are getting the balance wrong?

There is something addictive about blogging and I am sure it gets worse when money starts to come in.

So how would you recognise that something is seriously adrift?

Do you recognise yourself in any of these ?

* You constantly check your emails, in fact your “door” is always open

* You look at your stats more than once a day just to see how your blog/ article is doing

* You write that 1 “last post” (and tweak others)

* You find yourself following up what appears to be an interesting email, and before you know it you are 4 websites away, following link after link and an hour has passed.

* You find yourself reading that email and again before you can blink, you are on a sales letter with your credit card poised.

* You are feeling bombarded with information and you feel you are losing focus. You are not achieving what you thought you might achieve that hour, day or week.

There will come a point when you need to start thinking about creating healthy boundaries in order to keep your health, relationships and a life.

Creating a healthy work life balance (without going too far the other way) should perhaps be something you take time out and consider at any time in your blogging life whether it be at the start or even (and perhaps particularly) if you have been at it a while.

What can you do?

* Take time out in the day set aside for family/friends

* Take a holiday. I feel much better for having had a few days off

* Take some exercise, even if it is just a walk around the block

* Set some time limits on how long you will spend on a day and what time you will go to bed

* Get some hobbies

* Set times when you will read your emails, perhaps twice or 3 times a day and switch it off in between.

* Plan your day and your week. I find it useful to write down what I want to achieve this day/week. It is sometimes over ambitious but I am finding it easier now not to overstretch and end up achieving very little. A plan will help you focus and it feels great to tick off things once done

* For a day or so map out exactly what you do, and how long you spend on it. If you simply get a piece of paper and write down what time you start something and when you finish it (or start something else) you will see where you are spending your time and possibly wasting it. Doing something like this can help you focus more, stop you wasting time and ultimately give you some of your time back to do other things like seeing friends/ taking exercise.

What do you do to achieve that work life balance? Do you do anything at all? If so what?

Albert

Tuks Engineer asked:

There are over 8 million searches online every month, Adsense per click values get close to double figures and there are a mass of big-name affiliate programs to promote. But there’s something even bigger.

The reason I believe it just HAS to form part of your product portfolio is the shocking pay per lead programs offered by certain big name companies which affords you the possibility of earning a whopping $65 per lead just for the prospect filling out an approved form. As pay per leads go, this is the holy grail and I’ll tell you exactly where to find this affiliate program in the download area.

It’s estimated that the credit card business is worth $50 billion in the United States alone, and the total amount of credit card debt in America is over $800 billion. Those are staggering facts, and from the point of view of a content publisher you ought to be licking your lips in delight because we’ve already seen that over 8 million people a month search for “credit card” online. When there’s that type of volume in terms of both prospects and pure cash changing hands, you can bet there’s money to be made – and thanks to the internet even “Joe Blog” can get involved in a big way by owning a simple site or blog with targeted content & the right affiliated programs.

More facts? There are over 1.2 billion credit cards in circulation in the U.S. and almost 80% of individuals are deemed credit-worthy.

The thing is, credit card companies know that with the average U.S. household racking up an eye-popping $7,000 in credit card debt, the more sign-ups they get for their credit cards…the more money they make. It’s a pure numbers game and each and every sign up means big money for them – not just as a one off but for years into the future.

You see, that’s exactly why they’ll throw around a lot of money to get these customers (and lots of it). That’s why there’s pay per click & pay per lead potential here that almost defies belief (and frankly it makes the internet marketing payouts seem like a sad joke). Let’s review the potential briefly:

** Pay Per Click Potential **

Credit card companies are known to bid around the $4 to $8 per click mark on Adwords and even more on certain keywords. As a result, a simple content based credit card site/blog can make out like a bandit with Adsense & other contextual programs.

** Pay Per Lead Potential **

Credit card pay per lead programs are among the strongest pay per lead programs in any niche market. I recall the excitement when a prolific internet marketing guru offered $1 per lead (for a limited time) under pay per lead. If you think that’s something, how does $65 per lead sound – one of the pay per lead programs I’ve found is offering just that (details inside the package). If you’ve tried to find reliable pay per lead programs before, you’ll know it’s very difficult. There are literally several hundred credit card companies – most aren’t involved with pay per lead… this information alone is priceless and if you value your time – saves you a LOT of it.

Jeremy

Scott Lindsay asked:

When blogging was a relatively new concept many bloggers simply looked to the medium as a way to empty their thoughts into an electronic file. Many viewed the medium as a journal that may never be read by anyone else.

In fact, early bloggers saw very little activity without sending out a direct invitation to view the blog to friends and family.

There are two primary roots to blogging. The first is old style message boards (now commonly referred to as moderated forums) and the second root is Online Diaries.

The earliest predecessor for blogging goes all the way back to 1983, but like most early Internet ideas they were basically useful only to the computer geeks and technicians.

Blogging as we see it today really came to the forefront in 2004. If blogging were a pot of water the boiling point wasn’t reached until that year.

Today blogging is incorporated into almost every form of social networking site. Business Blogging (b-blogging) is common with many online businesses.

Perhaps blogging has been embraced because the individual blog owner becomes the journalist, publisher and commentator without the need to consult with any of those journalistic types.

Blogging may seem meaningless initially. It may, in fact, seem more like an old style online diary read by a very few. You may even believe that the medium has no impact on your business marketing strategy. However, like Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies it can take some time for blogging views to reach the boiling point.

One way to improve blogging traffic is to post a link to the blog in any signature line when participating in forum discussions. Make a prominent link to the blog on your primary business site. Use links from other blogs, which may become reciprocal. You can even mention your blog in any company ezines, newsletters or autoresponders.

Many Internet users have come to view blogging as an alternative news source. If your business is on the cutting edge of your industry a business blog might become authoritative and be referred to by other bloggers for additional content. Their backlinks only serve to improve the traffic to your blog.

The growth of blogging serves the interests of knowledge and entertainment seeking consumers as well as businesses that understand what type of content their visitors are most interested in.

Blogging has really allowed a free exchange of ideas with the belief that if you meet the intellectual needs of the customer they are more likely to return with both trust and their credit card.

Caroline

Nizzura Azura asked:

Every week, hundreds if not thousands of online business owners launch new peoducts, yet ,only small minority of them make any profit, never mind survive the year. This is because they do not have the ability to hypnotize their site visitors to give their credit card numbers. If their visitor did not give their precious credit card number, obviously they could not get any commissions or post any profits from their site. There are few ways that you can use to hypnotize your site visitors’ to give them their credit card numbers. Among them, the top 5 are:

1)Everybody like to feel good. You have to use this proven point to ensure that your site visitors’ will visit your web site again and again. Use a few jokes, humorous graphics and funny stories or even online videos (from youtube.com). You could also provide a free online game they can play on your web site. If your visitors like it they will revisit again and again. Plus they might tell other people about it.

2)By adding the element of surprise, it will raise your readers’ curiosity and make them want to buy so they can find out what the surprise bonuses are. You could also not tell them and make it a real surprise. Just imagine how you would feel if you bought a product and got a second one for free without knowing it ahead of time?

3)Play with your visitors feelings, memories and emotions by asking them questions that induce thoughts, feelings, memories and emotions. This will influence them to buy. You could ask questions about people’s future, present and past. For example, you could say, “How many times have you seen your school friends make more money than you?”

4)Charge people a cheap price to get a sample of your product. If they like it, they can pay full price to get the full version. Yes, you could offer a free sample too. When you charge for a sample, it gives your product more perceived value and you end up making a little money at the same time.

5)Make your sales letters or ads sound like it is common sense to buy your product. For example, you could say, “Everyone knows you can’t make money…” Another example, “Everyone realizes that designing a professional web site isn’t hard like it use to be.”

Don’t let the simplicity of these techniques fool you. These techniques are very powerful – if you apply them correctly, and with a little creativity.

Robert

John Hutchinson asked:

Blog marketing. What is it? Well a blog is sort of like a website that you can get for free. If you can make frequent posts to it with original, fresh content, then you might attract visitors and search engine interest. This gives you an opportunity to promote your business opportunity.

There are millions of blogs online today with seemingly hundreds starting up each week. My question is why?

Answer. Money! Thousands of people think blogging is the magic bullet they have been missing to make their online businesses work. In fact they are encouraged in this by many experts online. They have all started to ‘blog for money’. This is because blogs are very simple to start.

However, there is a downside to blogging. It takes a lot of time to keep up regular posts and drive traffic to your blog, and a lot of effort to convert some of these into paying customers.

After a few days you begin to realize that the money is not flowing in. You have probably spent a lot of time working on your new blog and have not made a single penny. It’s about now that you realize that this is about hard work.

If you are not making money and you put a value on your time you are now losing money every time you sit down and post to your blog. If you spend 30 minutes a day posting to your blog, you will spend 15 hours in a month and have nothing to show for it.

However, don’t despair.

A really good blog is one that, once you start it, you would keep it up if you never made any money at it. The reasons for this are that the topic of the blog is a passion for you. It is not meant to be just about marketing. You should have an interest in the subject matter. You should be an expert in what you write about and your expertise shows.

Your visitors will return frequently because they want to read your pearls of wisdom. They pull out their credit card to buy a product you recommend. They click on a Google ad or subscribe to a newsletter. It is much easier when your blog is kept up to date with useful information. Do this and you will avoid the downside to blogging.

However that’s the problem. You have to be passionate about your subject and you have to keep it updated regularly. Many of us will never write 30 posts in the first month or maybe ever. The Internet is cluttered with blogs that were started with good intentions and abandoned like an orphan.

If you can combine your passion with hard work you can blog for money. However, you should make appear that making money is not your prime objective.

Blogging is work. Don’t be the victim of the downside to blogging. If your prime purpose is blog marketing and it doesn’t work immediately, then persevere. Make a commitment to post at least once a week instead of daily. If you are passionate, this should be achievable

Jorge

pardeep asked:

So you finally figured out how to get those visitors to your site, huh Well, partner, it is not over. Now you have got to keep them there, while also bringing in new people, if you hope for your blog to be effective.

How I knew you ask that…

1. Pay closer attention to your audience than you do to your search engine rankings.

Who knows what way the wind will blow in years to come. You may be able to do without traffic from Google one day just like you are probably doing without traffic from Hotbot right now.

However, you will never be able to do without your clients and prospects. If you could you would not be in business, would you

So pay attention to what your audience wants to hear. If you configure your blog correctly in the first place, you would not have to worry about a good ranking so much.

2. Shut Up if you have nothing interesting to say. And while you are keeping your lips tight, find something really interesting to say.

Of course, I believe that there is never nothing to say. But I am a writer and not everyone thinks that way.

After the first six to eight weeks, post every day if it suits you and you have words of interest. But if you can sense that your posts are not full bodied and home brewed, it really is okay to make us go without for a few. We will live. We would not think so, but trust us, we will.

Just make sure you have something darn near earth shattering to share when you get back, so we will all sit up and take note… and realize that we missed you.

3. When you Do Talk, Do It Loud and Proud Even if you find out later you were Loud and Wrong

It is considered impolite to behave like a Rock Star when you are having a business dinner, even if you are one.

But guess what When you are blogging, you are not at a business dinner. That is not to say that you Have to be a Rock Star. You do not even have to be a Star. But you definitely want to be noticed, maybe referenced, and hopefully linked. A great way to do that is to be different. The most unique thing about you is You. Inject your personality in all that you do online.

So if you have news, share it. Heck, if you have gossip share it, just always, always, always, link to your suspicions or sources. On the rare occasion that a high profile blogger is information is totally off base, they print a retraction. So do not be afraid to suppose. Just let us know you are sharing a rumor or a hunch or a fact or an opinion.

4. Do Unto the Blogosphere, and Make It Easy for Them to Do Unto You

When I have credible sources, I link to them. Even if I read something from the Google Blog, but now when I first saw it first at Micropersuasion, I am still linking to Micropersuasion. That is all there is to it.And let me tell you it is a Huge deal when Steve Rubel links to an article that you wrote even when it is not posted on your site think about that the next time you are tempted not to link out because they have enough traffic.

For the majority of people, I realize, that situation may never be in consideration. Most of the people reading this have nothing to do with search engines, public relations, or internet marketing.

Well, I am here to tell you that even if your business is timeshare resales, link to your sources. You never know who is reading and who is going to link back. Especially if you are in a business niche where twenty visitors eventually means at least one sale, find out what the neighborhood is like in your part of the Blogosphere, look around, and play nice with the other kids.

5. Blog Like You Talk But if You Talk Funny Get Someone Else to Blog with You

Nothing will scare your visitors away faster than landing in technobabble by accident. I landed at a friend is site about search engines, and the first paragraph I saw said somethinga bout an times the square root of pi and I clicked out before I even remembered why I went there.

Do not get me wrong if that is how you talk, keep it real. But if that is not the language your clients speak, you might want to either have an employee represent your company in the blog, or do a team blog that represents all the prominent voices.

6. Give Every Subscription Option Under the Sun

Most people paying online are going to use their credit card or debit card, by far. How crazy would you have to be to say, hm, 90 per of people use credit cards, but the hell with that. If they want my binoculars, their only choice is to send me 20 by PayPal on Tuesday mornings.

In this same way, refusing to turn on your site feed, because most people are still following you by email makes absolutely no sense. Refusing to start an email list or offer subscriptions to your blog headlines, summaries or posts via email is equally nuts, particularly now that there are tools in place that will translate feeds to email for you.

Not serving as much of your audience as you can is turning down money, plain and simple.

Hopefully these tips will help keep visitors coming back to your blog. It is like the old adage said, it is easier and cheaper to keep your present customers than it is to constantly find new ones.

Why should your site rank okay for one keyword phrase, when your blog can rank first page for hundreds Read the yellow grid for proof. for proof.

Dustin

kramesh asked:

Gone are the days when blogs used to be more of personal diaries – of random thoughts and ramblings. Today, we all know that blogging is a good source of income. How? Well it’s simple! Write relevant content, generate traffic for your blog and earn money through advertisements. Although it reads simple, is it really that simple? There are millions of blogs floating in this virtual world. What makes your blog so special that people would visit your blog again and again? It’s also not just about having loyal visitors, it’s also about generating new traffic. How do you do that? Here are some tips on blogging – how to keep it interesting, keep it growing and how to ensure a regular traffic and keep building on that.

Choose a topic that is of relevance to you. Something that you understand and are confident about. You can generate dependable content for the topic and will be considered a knowledgeable source for the relevant topic. Such topics could be as simple as gardening, plumbing or even political discussions – anything that may interest you.

Present your information in a lucid, easily understandable way. Your reader should find interest in what you are writing. Break the information into smaller chunks for easier comprehension. Try and avoid long sentences and flowery language.

Keep your blog up-to-date. Keep a tab on the latest happenings in your field. Share your opinion and guide the reader. Provide relevant links and associate information portals in your blog entries.

Visit other blogs and leave relevant comments. Your opinion should be interesting and helpful for the blog writer. This will generate not just the writer’s interest to visit your blog but also that of the readers of the blog. Just as you are advised to leave comments at the same time, ensure that you respond to the comments received in your blog entries as well. It is important that you build a social network.

Have your blog registered with Search Engines – people should be able to find it through the most popular search engines. More the visibility, steadier is the flow of traffic to your blog.

Remember to advertise your blog in different forums, forums that discuss same interests as your blog. Let your friend circle know – mail them regularly about the updates in your blog, encourage them to subscribe to your blog. If your content is good, people will be interested in your blog.

Once you make your mark, you can start writing for others or jointly publish content with someone else. This has given visibility to many bloggers in the past. There are incidents where bloggers have been picked up by publishing houses, newspapers and magazines to write for them.

The opportunities in the field of blogging are enormous – it is something that one enjoys doing and also earns something out of it. If you keep the above tips in mind, chances are you will start generating revenue from your blog very soon.

Did you find this article useful? For more useful tips and hints, points to ponder and keep in mind, techniques, and insights pertaining to credit card, do please browse for more information at our websites.

<a href="http://www.bigblogs.com

<a href="http://www.freeearningtip.com

Melanie

Tuks Engineer asked:

There are some niche markets that you really have to participate in as a content publisher because of their pure potential for digital profits. I’ve been going on about markets such as investment, real estate and travel for a while because all of them have cash-rich prospects and offer multiple opportunities to earn from a mix of big-ticket affiliate programs, information products, Adsense & more.

I’ve been wanting to introduce this niche to you for awhile. Why? Because yes it returns over 8 million searches online every month, Adsense per click values get close to double figures and there are a mass of big-name affiliate programs to promote.

Why The Credit Card Niche Is A Dream Come True For Content Publishers Around The World

Pay Per Click Potential

Credit card companies are known to bid around the $4 to $8 per click mark on Adwords and even more on certain keywords. As a result, a simple content based credit card site/blog can make out like a bandit with Adsense & other contextual programs.

Pay Per Lead Potential

There are over one billion credit cards in circulation within the U.S. alone and credit card companies are thought to have scooped up a cool $50 billion in revenues from late fees and charges alone. It’s a pure numbers game for these companies…they know the more sign-ups they get, the more profits they’ll see. It’s a little like internet marketers and their mailing lists. The difference is that these multi-million dollar credit card companies will pay BIG to generate leads. To you and I, even $1 to generate a lead seems excessive, but to a major credit card company even $50 can be cost effective because the lifetime value of that lead can be thousands of dollars.

The potential with pay per lead and Adsense is strong to say the least.

Several bids on contextual (Adsense) advertising are at the $5, $8 even $10 mark while the credit card niche is possibly the strongest I’ve ever seen for pay per lead income. One major credit card company I’ve found pays a whopping $65 per application they receive from your referrals. The customer doesn’t have to buy anything so you can expect a far better conversion ratio than if you were trying to sell an affiliate program – yet the reward is higher than you’ll see as an affiliate from the majority of products out there. And we’re just at the starting point… my belief is that pay per lead will be a successful model for credit card companies to sign-up new cardholders in a way that can be traced. Surely, others will follow suit. To me, that’s really incredible and the PPL possibilities alone warrant a presence in this market.

So Now You Understand The Potential, How Can You Set-Up A Simple Content Website That Can Start Delivering Earnings Right Off The Bat?

set up a content blog or website with information that’s going to interest your prospects. Cover topics like:

- How credit cards work

- How to spot a good credit card deal

- Different features of the many credit cards on display

- Credit cards to suit different types of customer (eg student cards, reward cards etc)

- Balance transfers

…you get the jist. The best way to structure your site is to have each specific article on one page with 3 Adsense link units and of course the link to your pay per lead program so when your prospects do apply (and if they are targeted, many will) you’ll get $65 per application.

If you want to profit from niche marketing, you need to be in the right markets. It’s well worth your time setting up a presence in this niche – the rewards speak for themselves.

Ruby
