Is it true that American Express ( Credit Cards) are going bankrupt ? That they’re not doing so well financia?

    AS A Retail business>>= the AMX card is 2-3X more in cr card fees I must pay to use this cr card
    ==NUTZ we always ask\and hope they have another card
    In now’s economy this causes even more pain>>and although this has been a concern with retail not wanting to accept the CARD = they are doing nothing to improve
    ONCE =amx was an elite card=pay off 100% ea month >>now no diff any cr card =so we don’t want to accept it n 2009 //even if we loose business>>=they get 6+% ea sale as a fee AAARGH
